1995 BUTTERFLY KISS
[ Click for Larger Version ] -"There's more to Life than this" is played, from Bjork's 'Debut' Album.
Also features music by PJ Harvey and the Cranberries.
- THE STORY: Eunice (Plummer) is a dangerously disturbed killer who wanders the motorways of England in search of her lover, Judith. She meets up with the simple-minded Miriam (Reeves) who is desperate for companionship and together the two women set off on a road trip so grim it makes Thelma And Louise look like Summer Holiday.
PROS: Like TV's Cracker, Butterfly Kiss looks into the minds of people who exist on the edges of society and it is very unnerving to watch Amanda Plummer's version of madness.
CONS: Sadly, Plummer's English accent is dubious to say the least.
VERDICT: Very bleak, very grey, very hard going.

1995 LE GARCU
- This movie by (Maurice Pialat) stars Gerard Depardieu, Geraldine Pailhas and Dominique Rocheteau, who's not an actor but was a very good professionnal soccer player.
The movie director Maurice Pialat is very "controversial" in France; he won "La palme d'Or" (the gold palm) in Cannes few years ago with "Sous le soleil de Satan" ( under the Satan's sun - hehe, i love these literal translations ) also with Gerard Depardieu.
- The movie had 'Human Behaviour' played during the end credits and during a dance scene, and also used 'You've been Flirting Again' during the movie.
